Had the limited batch "Yankee Doodle Delight" ice cream from Carter's Ice Cream in Haverhill tonight, it's absolutely delicious! It has red and blue cupcakes blended into the cake batter ice cream, giving it a thick "milkshake" like texture. Their homemade waffle cone goes along perfectly!
It's always busy at Carters Ice Cream because it's so good! I always get chocolate marshmallow and am never disappointed. The service is quick and the sizes are incredible. Plenty of benches to sit on or you can do like me and take it home to eat. Of course you will need a cup to do that. Always a fun place to go.

My Nana and Pa lives near here before they passed and we used to go here all the time when we would go and visit. Some of the cones were as big as my head. Whenever we are in town again, we will definitely stop by.

Can't believe I spent the summer at the cross-town competitor when I could've been snarfing some Carter's Chocolate Chip (nay, Iceberg) Ice Cream. Worth the side trip if you're in the neighborhood. Worth the trip even if you're not. A shareable "small" ice cream with jimmies and a doable waffle was a $4.75. The pupster's cup with 3 biscuits was $3.00.
